What is a Sports Massage?

Sports & remedial massage addresses muscle and musculoskeletal imbalance; helps clinical rehabilitation from injury and accelerates recovery from intense exercise.

It is a more localised treatment than typical full body massage. Massage can benefit anyone with muscle pain, or looking to improve their range of movement.

Sports & Remedial Massage can help with:

Repetitive strain injury (RSI)

Plantar facitis

What to expect
on your Sports Massage treatment?

In your first session, your massage therapist will take a full medical history; and ask about your lifestyle; any exercise routine and past injuries.

I will perform a physical assessment to determinate the cause of your pain or lack of movement. Please note initial treatments may only give you temporally relief and depending on your injury or condition, you may need more than one session.
